I should have known there would be a forum for garages. Been reading and learning the past couple days. We built a house near San Antonio TX and I have a 2.5 car garage to outfit. I lost my man cave when we gave up the basement in VA, so I thought I would do a little more than DIY epoxy on the floors. I did double the coats on the floor in the last garage and it held up great for 11 years. I want something more...

I'm leaning toward Racedeck over Swisstrax because of the interoperability of all the Racedeck tile designs. I close on the house in a week and I'll be sure and post before and after pics.

Do a porcelain tile floor. Check out the threads here. I was up in the air and could not decide what floor to do until I started to check out the porcelain tile floor threads here. I am 100% going tile. Good luck.

Welcome HemiChallenger.

There are lots of options shown on this forum, take some time and enjoy searching, the final choice is strictly personnel based on your needs and desire.

Be sure to fill in your profile, I know you stated TX in your post but it will really help in the future having it filled in so people can see it easily.

Also

By your handle I am guessing your a car guy, lets see your toys!

Both the brands you mentioned are great brands, American Made and quality product. I would be very happy to have either in my garage. Really the discussion we need to have before we start pushing product  is how you use your floor and where you live.

We do offer RaceDeck if that is the route you decide to go. They are also very active on the forum. http://www.garageflooringllc.com/garage-floor-tiles/

I have a quote from you guys in my grubby paws. As soon as the house closes, I'm calling.

I live in TX so snow will no longer be a problem but I also want to be able to wash the car and pull it in to finish up. I do work on my cars so a floor jack (wide wheels) and flat bottom jack stands as well as race ramps will be used.
