Good evening all,
New guy here from Canada, and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the marvels that you have all created! I am the proud new owner of my first garage and am looking for advice, particularly on what things would you insist on doing differently, if you could start your garage arrangements over?
My shop is 48x48, 10' to the rafters and clear spans with no columns. It has a concrete floor, board and batten walls, no insulation (walls or ceiling), and three bays. Two bays are for daily driven vehicles, the other for inside storage of a 1959 Ferguson 35 tractor (also used regularly, waiting for restoration), a 1994 K1500 Blazer w/350 & 5spd MT, and various small gas powered equipment (16 items at last count). My workshops for metal, wood and automotive will all be sharing the space, so layout is my primary concern, with how to maintain good open working area, and also incorporate storage. I tend to have multiple project on the go as well...
Any thoughts that you would like to share? I would be most interested in hearing them!
Best regards to you all, and thanks in advance for your replies.
Mike
