My son and I stopped by his new house and race garage today to see how progress is coming along. 3 guys were there yesterday insulating the house and garage and said they will finishe up late today. Its a high of 40 or so today so its been cold weather. One guy is on stilts so he gets to do the high stuff. The carpenters were able to build the exterior stair to the second floor yesterday. After Arlington County Virginia inspection either Monday or Tuesday the drywall guys will starting hanging rock. We are planning on using OSB in the race garage with drywall at the ceilings and inside the upstairs storage room. We decided to go with 2 electric ceiling mounted heaters and one will come from the the garage we currently use. We are starting to think seriously about where to put the main work bench which will hold the small drill press, grinder and big vice. We 5 undustrial quality shelf units and at least 3 of them will go upstairs for storage and maybe will buy two more as we have a lot of stuff like hoods, doors, fenders, used and new race tires and cases of Red Line Oil. The electrician also roughed in the wiring for the exterior flood lights.
