I need a new garage/workshop (detached). I want to use a clear-span type structure and I want to use vinyl siding to match the house. Steel siding is not an option for me.
This leads to MiracleTruss.
Except; MT wants several thousand more for a frame (no siding, no roofing, etc) than SteelBuilding (also clear-span) wants for an entire building! Also, the MT trusses are not I-beam construction (why?, that makes them plenty less useful.)
Soooo, what are my options for: (30-32 deep) by (44-58 wide) by 12

---trusses can support second floor for part of shop
Jeez: what's the point of having to build a building inside your building just because the outer shell is only good as a shell? Why not sack up and make your outer shell capable of supporting internal structures? Another big minus for MT.
For MT prices, maybe I need to go with custom-engineered steel-frame.
Any suggestions?
