I have enjoyed this site as a viewer but this is my first time asking for some help. I recently completed most of the work on my new garage and I am now working on interior finishes. The garage has floor heat and I am in Minnesota so moisture around the windows is going to be a concern. I would love to use PVC but the cost is up there for the amount I need. Has anyone had experience with composites like MiraTec and if so I would like to hear some input. Thank you.

My winter weather is at least as cold as yours. My garage interior window trim is solid oak with a nice stain and urethane finish. It handles the moisture just fine.

Thanks Gary, I have thought about that (wood)too but because white liner steel is being used I just wanted to go with something white around the windows as well and of course that was my interest in PVC. Installation and done!
