Hello, I Stumbled upon this page and found it very interesting. I saw a workstation in a garage And found it appealing. I wanted to show a work station I started building in my garage i still need to add drawers but got stuck and can't find ideas. Hopefully someone can give me some input.
Thank you.

No ideas, but looks like a good start!

Nice start! I like how you lowered your planer so that its work surface is at the same level as your workbench. Will probably help eliminate snipe.

As far as drawers - like you, I made an open base workbench first, then added drawers. I made this unit to fit into the opening. Baltic birch plywood with full extension drawer glides. This pic is before I installed it in the opening.

And here's a bad pic how it sits in the workbench. Which I've since covered up with toolboxes.

Wow the drawer might look better in an office, thats how great it looks.

Something extra, next to the planer is a chop saw that sits on a flip top to give me the extra space when needed. As you've seen the planer is flush but it sits on a lowering base with one threaded rod on each corner but a bit stuck there. Need some idea to add gears and a small motor to make it go up and down or something a bit more simple. Hope someone can can pull the switch and a few ideas pop up. Thanks again. Will add more pics so you all can see what it looks like and hope it helps.
