Recently moved into a new house with 2 car carport. Enclosed carport to make wood shop. Then came out with perpendicular garage addition (24' x 50'). Outside is about done. Still need to wire, Insulate, and drywall...

Here's a few more pics...started out by enclosing 2-bay carport to make wood shop. Then came perpendicularly with garage main structure which is a 3-bay garage. 4th bay was going to be a lean-to but during construction, framers said they had enough materials to close 4th bay in. It's primarily used to store trailers but that is likely to change. Doors for 4th bay came from a friend of my father who had taken them off his barn. Cut them down to size, coated and hung.

My uncle made a good suggestion that I thought might be of interest to others here. Since I am getting ready to run electrical wiring, he suggested that I use CPVC tubing run along side wiring thru the studs with quick disconnects every 10-15 ft for compressed air. The disconnects will protrude thru the drywall. My compressor will stay in one location, with hose attached to CPVC tubing. This will eliminate dragging compressor all over garage. (If your drywall is already up, you could run tubing and mount to drywall at studs).

My buddy helped me install electrical. I had insulation put in and drywall put up. Then I painted. I'm ready for the final inspection. Got plenty of light...

The first three are standard metal garage doors. The last bay has wooden doors that came off a barn. A friend of my Dad gave them to me. I brought them home, cut them down to size, moved some boards, finished, and hung them. They are heavy as hell...
