Built this last summer.

It's 30' x 40'

Vaulted ceiling - 9.5' high at walls and 12' high in center of garage

8' wide bench w/Stainless countertop

New tool box last week

I also built a matching 4' wide bench to sit my lathe/milling machine on and put a TV up on top of the compressor room in the back - that room will also be the bathroom sometime soon

Very cool, thanks for sharing. That stove is great. Is that the only way you heat it? Natural gas or wood?

It's a wood stove and it heats it pretty good - I have a fan behind it and 2 ceiling fans so there is lots of circulation

I'm starting a 30x36 this week hopefully, and plan to lay out the doors just like you have yours. If you don't mind me asking, what size are those front two doors?
I was figuring two 10x8 doors would leave me room for a service door on that face too.

What do you have on the ceiling? Looks pretty glossy.

It's a semi gloss paint - same as the walls

The front doors are 12 x 8 and the side door is 10 x 8

Nice garage.... 30'x40' seems to be a very good size (based on the room in my stepfather's shop).

What are your ceilings covered with? I like the semi-gloss... I might have to go with that or full gloss on my ceiling.

Nice!

I see the incandescent lights too. I guess that's for when it's cold and until you heat it up enough with the stove before turning on the flourescents.

That woodstove would be illegal in Michigan- the burner or open flame has to be 16 inches from the deck. and they frown on woodstoves in an area that uses cleaners, paints, or gas fired equipment. But, Nice garage
