Did you notice the expanded socket sets with shallow and deep sockets but, no ratchets? How about the expanded line of trim tools or the six point wrenches? I ran all of my want list part numbers through the usual online vendors such as tooltopia and thetoolwarehouse without finding any of the items I want. Oh well, maybe in a couple more months.:wtf:

Yeah, they have a bunch of cool stuff that I haven't found online yet. The tool boxes in the cataloge was the first time I had seen them. I wonder who the OEM is? Their impact sockets look awesome...

I also received mine yesterday. I never knew Gearwrench made so much stuff. It was also pretty nice of them to send this catalog via UPS at no cost.

I got mine yesterday too! Looking through it last night cuz I need some torx bit sockets. They have ones they call torx Press Fit. Is that just a fancy name for a regular torx bit or is it torx plus?

They are regular Torx, they are just pressed into their socket holder. That's why they are "Press Fit."

Unfortunately, we don't have enough volume to bring them into the Armstrong line.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

I appreciate the follow up. With respect I would like to offer my humble opinion on the topic at hand. The Gearwench brand / style is flying off the shelves, and it shows that there is indeed a need and demand for the said item.

If Armstrong hasn't even offered said item, how do they know there is no need? :headscrat If and when there is a round table, could you bring this up to the power's that be? I would greatly appreciate it if you could, as I wish to fill out my tool collection with the last bits with all Armstrong.

As always I thank you, and your partner in crime for replying to our questions . . .

The catalog came real quick via UPS.

Tried to order a wish book but the web site looks like it is down. I love my cross beams, they are long enough that you can get leverage with the smaller fasteners.

You're only ordering a catalog, why get frustrated? Their website is screwy at times. I called their 1-800-688-8949 customer service nember between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, talked to a real person and received my catalogs.
Perhaps, overwhelming demand from the closet Gearwrench fans here have exhausted their current catalog supplies.:wtf:

Or the *******. That's where all of my SO, Sears, Matco, Mac, GearWrench catalogs are. Sometimes I stay on the pot a little too long because I get "intrigued". ;)

Which are used for reading, and which are used for wiping?

I kept waiting and waiting for mine and it never came, was getting pissed, then sunday as I'm coming up the stairs( split entry home and the top is open to the stairwell) I saw a UPS envelope sticking out from under the love seat, it was my catalog. I asked my daughter how long it was there and she said "oh Mom stuck it there a couple days ago" I think she was trying to hide it on me :lol_hitti

Damn man, give them time. Its been less than a week. In my experience it takes longer that, judging from the catalogs I've ordered from other companies. Give 'em a break. Maybe they are slow coming from the printer...
