Matco has been selling Taiwanese made spline wrenches at double the Gearwrench price for more than awhile now. The only thing US made in the Gearwrench line up is their micrometer torque wrenches. I'll let you know how awesome they are when I get mine. :lol:

There are these (link below). They are also spline (be it a positive or negative) They are not flat like the gear wrench though, but maybe what you are looking for. I find this style more useful.

Metric : $277 in the paper catalog, not sure why so much on the website.

A few months back I purchased both a metric and sae set stamped by platinum. They appear to be identical to mac's offerings but half the price at appx $130~ a set. And as fed said they're my go to when they fit. Plus as buck requested they are double ended so I'm not duplicating my standard fixed end lr.
