Hi all,
I've been lurking for weeks and thought I'd introduce myself. I call myself a fan because looking at this place, I am not worthy to be called a member. Jezuz H is all I can say. I stumbled here when I was looking for a tool chest. Found great info but most way over my pay grade. All the pros are using SO and Mac etc. so it was fun looking to see if my consumer grade 27" roller was "good" quality. Anyway, that led me to see lots of garages. Now I'm obsessed with flooring in addition to tools and tool cabinets. I used to think I had a pretty cool garage, but now I have garage shame. Regardless, I'm gonna stick around awhile and up my game. I am a DIYer who wants to do more work on my car and bike. I'm also a bit OCD so you can see why I almost shat myself when I saw these garages that I needed to have. Many other OCD people here know that it does have to be that clean and organized for you to sleep at night. Enough rambling. I am inspired. I have been thinking of taking a pic of my box and tools just for comedy on the tool box thread. Looking forward to more reading and contributing when I can actually add something. Peace.

Welcome to G.J.
Go out and take a picture of your garage Now. Then take a picture of your tools. Go ahead and post them. Then in one year do it all again and you will be surprised what a difference there is...Richie

Did this on your advice. I definitely subscribe to "no pics, didn't happen" so that was a good reminder to do it, even if no one but me sees most of them.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I realized that I'm ok with my tools for now. I'm a minimalist but buy when there is a need. I don't get paid for wrenching so I'm cool with my humble tool setup, although I am very tempted to get my tool on. One bonus is learning so much about tools. Its been fun just trying to guess what all of those tools in the pro boxes are for. I will continue to read this everyday and post on occasion as I am but a padawan here. I think I'll start by getting my garage the way I like it.
