Another thing with the 6.0s,throw away the exhaust manifold bolts away which come from the factory and get the upgraded exhaust manifold bolts from the dealer.The original bolts break on the 6.0s causing an exhuast leak and this is a common problem.Plus the remaining part of the bolts can be a real PITA to get out of the head.Jasper beats GM on reman engines big time.Some of the 5.3 heads do have problems,they crack if made by one of the factories.There are two factories that make them and one is badly casted.

Thanks for the added info. These are brand new GM motors off the factory line sold through a GM dealership and much more complete than you can normally buy. The Jasper motors may be a good deal when comparing apples to apples, but we are talking about two different things here. It is kind of irrelevant now as we just shipped the last one today.
