New Grease Gun

So my old P.O.S. grease gun died and I'm in the market for a new one. I know a couple things that I want and I have my eye on the Lincoln 1134 right now.

I want.

1. flex hose
2. non-air
3. pistol grip

Anyone have this gun or want to recommend a different one?

I like Lincoln products for greasing and if I was to buy a new one, I would shop for the pistol grip model, too.

We've got several 1134 Lincolns at work, I prefer them to the lever action units.

I love mine but they are made in India. Quality is still there if you find a Made in USA one please let me now.

It will be very very hard to install and remove do to there locking jaw design. I have to use visegrips to install and remove!

I would go for the Lincoln. I just got a Lincoln 1133 and put a 24" flex hose on it.

I have two of these, an old Stewart Warner as previously mentioned and a newer A500 professional. Yes, the old SW from the 60's still works.

A few years ago I bought what I believe was a re-painted Lincoln from Snap On, and it was the biggest POS that could be. If you ever managed to get it primed, it would NOT stay primed, I took it back and my dealer said that Snap on had had so many complaints that they no longer stocked it, so out it went, and I went back to using my 15 year old PLEWS, which has NEVER given a bit of trouble, other than once in a great while it will not prime after changing cartridges, but a few hits on a tire, after loosening the cap will knock the air out, and it is up and running again. I much prefer a pistol grip, over a lever action, for the simple reason that you can work the pistol grip one handed.

I have two IR 570's I got from Northern tool several years ago but dont see it on their site today. I am happy with it, and like the pistol grip over the lever style lubrimatic which I grew up with. I think it was around $25-$30.
