New Grinder....

Gotta share this with everyone. Not a big deal, but been waiting for it for a few months. Folks just came to Texas from NJ to visit, and my Dad brought me his Craftsman Bench Grinder. I got it home tonight, and hooked up the shields and put the bulb in....I am pretty dang excited to be getting this in just about perfect shape.







Any thoughts on a proper stand for it?

This is the original stand that Sears sold for those grinders. Too rich for my blood (this time), and local pick-up only.

Many years ago, I bought a new one identical to this. Great grinder with no problems. About two months ago, I was surfing a local pawn shop and picked one up for $25.00. Was a little surprised because it was priced for $40.00!

Thanks guys, and yes, he is a great Dad. Was looking at the HF one as well. Gonna swing by there today with the wife and check it out. And Ign, as long as you return it in a timely manner, u can come over and get it...lol...
