Hey everyone, I just joined and I'm amazed by some of the garages on here! Anyways, I'm a 19 year old college student and have been restoring my '70 Chevelle with my Dad in this garage for the past 6 years. It's almost done and my younger brother just got a '79 Corvette project car. The upstairs of the garage is a bar/game room area. Just wanted to say hey.

Thanks. It looks really unorganized in the pictures, but we've had a lot of projects going on lately.

Unorganized? I see all the bottles sitting on one shelf, cords all hung up, jacks and jack stands all in one place... That is not unorganized!!!

Your dad seems to be a great guy to spend the time and money working with you and your brother to make some great cars! Enjoy the time while you can, learn everything you can from your dad, and enjoy your car!

"The Snap-on box our friend gave us after he retired"

I wish my friends would give me a Snap-On Box when they retire. Holy Sh!t.

Love the 70, my fav Chevelle. What are the specs on it? 454 w/ 4 spd?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Unorganized?

Well maybe not "unorganized," but cluttered compared to normal lol.

Yeah, he retired from the wrecker building service after 30 long years and said, "Here, take them! Just keep them clean."

The Chevelle has a bored out small block 400, th 400 trans and once I get some sticky tires it should be running low 12s all day long! :3gears:

Nice garage and nicer cars. I think the 78-82 are the best looking of the soft bumper Vettes. Any more pics of the shop?

Thanks. I'll try and get some more tomorrow.

Can you post a couple of pictures of the back side of the garage? also 1 from the left side - I am interested in the overhang on the back

Wow!!! I forgot about this thread. Loving the tinwork in the bathroom and the upstairs. I especially like the matching galvanized sink. Unique idea. Pics saved for future reference. Thanks.

I don't have any more exterior pictures right now, but there's really not much going on back there. I'm not sure what you're seeing in the picture, there's no overhang.

Thanks. The tinwork is perfect for the garage, because it is very low maintenance! You don't have to worry about bumping into it and needing to repaint.

Awesome garage. I too love the sink in the bathroom.

And what's the story behind the bras on the wall? Trophies found in the back seat of the Chevelle?

:lol_hitti Maybe one or two.

The story: Recently a buddy of mine jokingly suggested that the ladies should "pay admission" to the garage. One thing led to another and we eventually started hanging them on the wall. Some are real and some were gag gifts.
