Wow. Nice cars and place. Welcome to the site.

Why were you welcoming race fans? Or is that always outside your house? :bounce:

Nice looking space, what is the height of the roof in that interior?
Also, what model BendPak is that, HD-9?

So, are those "show only" cars or does at least one of them see track time? (That black one looks fantastic!)

<--- My name is Darren and I'm a track-a-holic.

The gold 944turbo sees quite a bit of track time. The black one is an '86 911 turbo, 2600lbs, 700hp, .....show/street. Thanks for the compliment.

Sweet. I do have a question though. (Forgive my German turbo ignorance.) What is the use of the smaller exhaust pipe? Also, are those 315 tires??? Fantastic use of NACA Duct. Based upon it's angle I assume that's an intake to the engine instead of to the brakes? Show AND go. Gotta love it! :D

Thanks, ceiling height is 10ft 4in. Lift is Bendpak PF7000st.
Lucky, you, I don't think they make that one anymore, would be perfect for me, guess I'll eventually have to get the 9000 lb model (overkill for a 2100lb 914).

Also, that small pipe is for the turbo to dump the excess psi, you also see this on the Ferrari F40 and the old 934-935 cars.

"What is the use of the smaller exhaust pipe?"

It is a waste gate exhaust pipe. Since it is external on these from the turbo it is easier to run a seperate pipe.

Looks to me like you need a 914-6 in your stable to round out the collection. Which PCA region do you belong to?

Maybe we will bump into each other some where along the way.

OVR is my region, so we have a little geography between us. Nice fleet, yeah there are some really nice garages around this place, but yours lookin good to me.
