Hey everyone my name is Matt/Matthew. I currently reside in Okinawa Japan (Former Army) now as a Contractor. I am from Arkansas originally. Recently got a house with a 2 car garage (20ftx20ft) so working on getting it setup as I have time. Not new to the automotive world as I started learning at the age of 6 by holding up wheel tubs for my Dads 57 Chevy Bel-Air so he could weld them, from there never got away from cars. In Japan I have a Toyota Aristo (manual transmission swapped). Stateside I have a 85 Monte Carlo SS and a 85 Silverado C10. Currently building the Silverado when I am home. Monte Carlo is original.

Started slowly learning how to weld. Just recently picked up a Lincoln MIG welder for the garage to practice with. Only downside is harder to come-by gas here so will have to use flux-core at home and learn the MIG/TIG with gas at the auto hobby shop. You know enough about me I suppose so have a good day.

House with 2 car garage ! That is AMAZING for Japan !

Ya they can be a pain to come by. Me and the wife waited for a while to leave our apartment. Once we had our daughter we started running out of room and car parts started overflowing into the living room, bathroom and all the other places. Was time for a bigger place. Hopefully the garage and extra room I have of the 5 BD is enough to keep my car parts contained. I guess I have a problem lol.
