Hi guys... Been lurking for awhile and figured I would finally post up an intro. I'm a painting and custom home wood work finishing contractor ( self employed). For hobbies I'm into wood working and wrenching on autos - own 2 mid 90's 5.0 mustangs. Located on western side of Columbus Ohio. Oh yeah...I also have a serious tool addiction so I really enjoy reading all the tool reviews on here.

5.0: got any pictures of your Beater? good to see you've joined, but a word of warning if you already have a tool addiction you'll need to hold on to your wallet because it will always be a bit lighter with all the tools you'll find you need after reading and learning more about them here.

welcome

Beater: love the car and your sense of humor. when i read the post on my cell phone i couldn't see you in the picture painting so i thought your scuff and squirt was a car wash.

good to have you on the forum. do you have any questions? or are you just enjoying the reading and the ability to ask a question or share some of your knowledge?

looking forward to seeing a few of your post on some of the threads i tend to reside like the vise or old tool threads.

Already browsed the "vise restoration thread" and was thoroughly impressed. I didn't know people took such good care of their vise's and kind of left me embarrassed at the shabby shape of my huge old vise I got from my grandfather. May have to post up mine in the vise I.D. thread.

Beater: although vises are a fairly simple tool it's a good way to learn how to take care of your other tools and of course you'll probably need another vise or two if you hang around this forum any and see all the cool ones that were and are made.

post a picture on the Vise Repair 101 thread if you have any questions or just post up a picture on the big vise thread if you want to show what you have. some vises get comments and others are one of hundreds already on the thread so might not get a comment unless you have a question.
