Ken... Its a big state! Can you give us a little more info on where you are? I lived there years ago and I miss that country to this day. I worked on the North Slope and logged in Southeast. Dubya

I live in the Mat-Su Valley Dudya. Between Palmer and Wasilla.

Logged SE? I make a deer hunting trip each Nov to POW. If the wif could get job transfer, I'd live there in a heartbeat. It'd sure be nice to live without two sets of tires per rig. LOL

Mat-Su is some nice country... Close to Anchor-town but easy to get into the sticks! My sister used to live in Wasilla too. I logged on Chicagoff Island for Whitestone logging in the '90's. I think they are out of business now. Hoonah was the closest town. Probably a 25-30 minute flight outta Juneau.
