Hi guys, been lurking for awhile admiring some gorgeous shops. I'm from northern Alberta, I work for a concrete company, and my wife and I are in the process of finishing our new garage. We built a 26 x 30 so we had someplace for the wife to change oil on the bikes.:bounce: We insulated the hell out of it, and heated it with a 75,000 BTU overhead radiant. I got a smoking deal on some pre-finished drywall, and we're about half done putting that up. I haven't decided whether or not to put down epoxy on the floor but I'm leaning that way. Anyway, that's my story, I'll get some more pics up when I'm done.

Welcome to GJ, Ninja. Your concrete expertise in northern climates will be of help to many here.

Those are some big pieces of equipment to help build your garage. Not familiar with a 2 piece cement truck. But it looks like it will get the job done.

Congrats on your progress. Good Luck with the rest.

Thanks for the welcome guys. The guy with the concrete pump owed me a favour so we used it for speed and ease of placement. The pad took about 15 yds of concrete reinforced with Silica Fume and fibremesh to avoid shrinkage cracking. Here's a couple crappy cell phone pics of the progress so far on the interior. It was sure nice to get that heater up and running last weekend!
