Hi Everyone
I've joined the site to see what other car guys are doing with their toys. I have always been interested in American factory muscle cars and would love a Boss 302 Mustang in my garage. Until that happens I'm racing a Holden Torana in our Nostalgia Drag Racing Series and am looking for a mid sixties Mopar to race. A clone Plymouth or Dodge with a 426 Max Wedge would be ideal cos there seems to be too many A Body Barracuda runners here and I'd like something a bit different.

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully the attachment of the Torana racing at Eastern Creek will appear somewhere in this reply. Yes it is a genuine LJ GTR XU-1 which I have owned for over 20 years. I have all the original parts but it races with a 3.3 litre blue bottom end with a good 9 port head. Stock steel wheels have replaced the Sprintmasters and there is a standard 4 speed M21 in place of the XU-1 box. Most owners want the Brock/Bathurst banner but some of us realise the true legacy of the Torana is it's continuing success as a car which is still winning races every weekend.
