New guy here checking in from Baltimore, I found this site about a week ago searching for some info on a mid 60's snap on chest I found in the corner of the shop with 15 years of junk on top of it. Ive been lurking a couple times a day since.

Ive been a HAMBer for a couple years, I sold off my fleet of pre 1965's and am now fixing up a '67 El Camino that shouldnt be saved but i need a cheap winter project to keep my away from trouble. I remember checking the garage journal a couple years back from a hamb link, but for some reason at the time it didnt click.

I was a diesel tech in the army and when I got out a couple years ago I worked a job restoring old Chevys. Nowadays im the general manager of a auto repair shop in Baltimore. I dont use my tools as much as I used to but I still use them daily.

I hope I can contribute to the community here, ive found it to be a great wealth of knowledge.

Thank you,
Your Scout looks familiar from binderbulletin? I just sold my last scout, and my 1110 this last month. I think ive had 8 or 9 IHs now. Looking for another 800 with a 6 cylinder now.

I use the same name and avatar on the BinderPlanet. Its my '75 Scout II XLC. Also in the fleet are a '62 pickup, a '74 1200 pickup and a '78 Traveler. Good luck in the hunt for another Scout.
