Hey fellas. I recently purchased a home here in MD. (My first home)

It has a detached 2.5 car. Almost entirely wood. I plan on totally building this out to suit my needs.

I will be adding insulation, some type of strengthened floor (see my thread in flooring), walls and work stations.

I love old Porsches and harleys, so I would like to make a garage that works for these hobbies.


So much inspiration here. Excited to poke around some threads.

Don't forget the very practical aspect of bumping your home insurance and to install security cameras. I lived in Maryland (Laurel and College Park), have friends in Baltimore. Petty theft is pretty common and we don't realize how much money we sink in tools and other valuables until the worst happens.
