Howdy all... new here.
My membership here is both for the garage/workshop I'm in the process of building myself and regarding a lot of the tools and such that I'll be buying as time goes on.
I live and work in Boston proper, but my folks have a small office building in Wayland. There was some storage space in the basement that was just dirt floor and gross old walls and ceilings. It was full of a bunch of **** that we had put there in a sort of emergency about 7 years ago, so my pet project 1 or 2 days a week since the summer has been to gut the whole thing and build it into my own garage/workshop. I dug down the floor, ripped out all of the old plaster/sheetrock/insulation, broke down a wall to make the space larger, had the floor poured, and have just finished framing all of the walls as well as running all my electrical stuff from a subpanel. I'm getting ahead of myself: I'll make a thread with some progress pictures and descriptions tomorrow sometime.
I plan to use it for maintenance and sometimes storage of my 2006 Yamaha R6 Raven as well as any vehicles I end up getting in the future. No car right now since I don't really need one...
