Been lurking around for some time as a guest and finally registered. Been into cars my whole life and been making do with my garage for 40 yrs. Decided it was time to do it right and got a lot of good info from all of you. I ripped out all the sheet rock I put in (the wrong way) 40 yrs ago, built an attic space, replaced the roof joists , insulated, sheet rocked and added electrical.
A pal is making me all new cabinets, and I hope to have it all painted and ready for him in a few weeks. My last project is the floor. Looking real hard at Race Deck but not sure if the circle works best or the open rib. Also do a lot of you use cloth underneath to stop noise or clicking? Weather is good here just rain and I wonder about dropping small parts or leaking fluids with the rib design. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for a great forum.
On a personal note, retired, married 40 years, cars include 32 Ford, 68 corvette
68 camaro (built for #1 son), 55 chev truck built for #2 son.
