New Guy from Chicago Area

Hi Guys,
My name is Rich,and currently living in a NW suburb of Chicago.Retired last December,and getting through, what were all dealing with this Covid year.Lets be safe,the lite is showing.
We are planning to move and build in Delaware ,a house and a shop-garage behind it this coming year.So I hope to get some good idea's from this forum,and maybe contribute some my experiences to others.My backround is mostly in the printing press trade,or whats left of it now days.As well as anA&P aircraft mechanic,welder,fabricator,electrician,and plant engineer.

You might be wrong on this.Taxes in Delaware will be 1/6 of what we pay in land of lincoln,for a comparable priced home.Part of reason were moving there,plus beaches,family,and a bit milder weather. Plus they have Cheesesteaks out there Rich
