Hi, name is Steve and I'm from the South side of Chicago. My garage is about 24'x24', not sure if that's considered a 2 1/2 car garage or if that's bigger or what. The garage was built in the 60's along with the house. My family is the only owner of the property, they bought everything new back in '65ish.

Here is a panorama of our 24'x24'.

All of my tools for working on my F-150 and Mustang and every other thing are in there along with the inevitable yard tools.

My uncle is giving me a furnace for the garage this spring but I have two main issues I feel like I need to take care of before that happens. First I need to find a way to clear out a corner (with all the yard tools) to put the furnace and second I feel like I need to do something about the floor. It's cracked and in parts its a bit uneven, nothing more than an inch. Cutting it out and starting over isn't an option cost wise. So any other suggestions are appreciated.

That's my spiel.

Haha! actually I also grew up in Hegewisch and the East Side. I went to Clay school for a bit and St. Columba and took shop classes at Mann Park. It's a small world. I live in Burnham now. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Welcome. Maybe a shed for the garden stuff? Bill

I was just talking with my wife today about the possibility of a shed. That might be the most feasible option.

As promised...here are pics of my garage. Pretty standard stuff...tool chests, chem cabinet, power tools, fridge, and a pay phone. My 07 Mustang GT is under the car cover for winter.
