Well I have been hiding out long enough, So I thought I would Say Hi to everyone and also thank you for all the great info. that you take the time share. I am about to have a 30x40 pole barn put up and I will make sure to start a build thread and take lots of pictures. Ken.......

Welcome to GJ Ken. Congrats on the new building going up. You seem to have a handle on it already, location and build thread with plenty of pictures. I'd suggest to try to take a picture a day from the same spot. It's a great way to watch it grow from the same perspective.

Eric, Thanks for the welcome. It's funny that you are the first to welcome me, Because your build thread is the first one that I read from start to date ! You have done really great work on both your garage and house ! Anyway I am not sure I have a handle on this, But I have an idea (well lots of them from this forum) And I know what I need. Now I just have to fit it all into my small budget. LOL And I wrote down you idea about the picture every day from the same spot, Great idea I am very anxious to get this building done but Between the weather, work, life, you get the idea, It feels like it will take forever to get it done. Outside is good east side commerce and a little south not so much . What are you planning to do in the new shop ?

What do I plan on doing in the new shop, Well I will hide from my wife and drink lots of beer LOL I will be doing a little wood working on one side , And the other side will be for working on our vehicles. I told my wife I am done working on stuff in the driveway and laying on my old back, So one bay will have a 2 post lift in it very soon after the building goes up. But we all know how plans can change, So we shall see
