Hello all,

If you are on various car forums you may recognize this user name as I use it on most forums I participate on. Name's Josh and keep getting brought back here for google search results; so I figured I may as well join another forum.

I live in East Texas and have a few cars I am building. The current Garage (22x23) isn't large enough for the car builds + tool storage + the fact that the slab is only 18' deep with an overhang + standard garage storage.

Thus I am in the process of wrapping up a 40x40 barn build for the wife. When that is done I'll be converting the existing 24x30 lean to/stall row to the shop after moving stalls to the new barn. It already has a concrete floor. Plan is to finish enclosing the lean-to, add a door, bring in power, insulate, a/c. Then I'll start on my Dodge Stealth Build and move the tools + Stealth + corvette over there.

Tips/tricks recommended. I don't really want to expand the pad and am trying to get to an enclosed space on a budget for a dedicated work place; then the garage (attached) becomes pantry and workout space for the house.

I do some hobby woodworking/ranch maintenance, building, tuning, racing of cars, and just the general outdoors (bass fishing/deer hunting).

Barn has been 99% me, I had my neighbor help me weld up/true up the trusses and used his larger tractor to build them into place.

Pictures are of the lean to, garage with just the corvette, garage with both cars now, and the current state of the barn; almost done with exterior tin work.
