New guy from Odessa FL (Tampa area). Materials Engineering by day, enjoy metal working/machine shop work in my spare time. Grew up in my dad's machine shop, he was a gunsmith specializing in Bullseye target pistols, I inherited the shop and tools when he passed in 2006. 1800 ft2, w/ 3 phase power. Lathe, Milling Machine, band saws, drills, etc. Bought a Jeep and started doing fabrication work, so added MIG welder, plasma cutter, torches, tubing bender, etc.
Always interested in tools, techniques, etc.; so looks like a lot of good info.
