Hey guys, I've been lurking on the board for a few weeks, had some technical difficulties with being able to post and see attachments but Ryan fixed it all up.
Anyway, my name is Dave, I'm from Atlantic Beach (Jacksonville) florida. dont have a garage yet,currently renting a townhome
, but my soon to be wife and i are trying to buy a house on 4 acres right now, zoned agricultural so i have plenty of room for my toys and no freakin HOA or ordinances to harass me about projects parked at my house.
I have a few projects that i'm messing with right now, my main one is my 79 Ironhead sportster. choppin it right now and the engine is going back together soon. also picking up a 73 kawasaki mach III 500 soon. just aquired a shallow vhull drag boat hull (18') and then theres an 89 taurus SHO that i have yet to get to work on. So I NEED a garage bad!!. i'm also a member of the jalopy journal and the jockey journal boards
I plan on something like a 30x40' prefab steel shop, 3 bays, maybe a lift and sectioned off for a small paint booth
meanwhile I'll sit back and learn to do's and dont's of garages, I've seen some great stuff on here
