New guy from IL

I figured it was time for an intro. I have been on here for a couple of months and I though it was time. I am currently doing the garage. I did the epoxy floor as soon as I bought the house. I just finished the electric, insulation, and some of the drywall. I am doing this all myself working a few hours here and there. I 'll attach a pic of what the garage looked like last summer, and more importantly what goes in the garage. This is a great forum that has given me alot of ideas on my current garage project.

Very nice 69. Welcome. My father grew up in Chicago and had a 70 SS with the same color scheme -silver w/ black stripes+vinyl.
He had bought it from a teenager that had worked in an engine shop and had some performance increase, to the tune of 480hp;lighter-driveshaft,exhaust,cam, etc.
The previous owner's mother could not stand the car, and finally promised him she'd buy him a new Monte Carlo if he'd sell it. Boy did my father have some stories from that beast.
