What's happening? Thought id make a resume since I've been surfing this site for a month or so.

My name is Jacob and live on Indy's west side and finally got tired of looking at my messy and decided to do something about it. I detail cars on the side from my full time job and figured a nice garage is more appealing to then customer.

Anyways..about me..36 y/o, I work in logistics, spent 5 years in the Marines and have a passion for cars. Been married for 10 years and have 3 kids. Anyways here's a few pics of the garage as it sits now. It's a 2 car garage that was unfinished and I'm trying to make it efficient for cleaning cars/and a man cave in general. Cheers!

As you can see a mess

Welcome Jacob, glad to have you with us. Nice transition on the garage in the third pic. You finish insulating the overhead door? What insert panels are those? I could use something like that on my door. Looks better than the styrofoam I have in mine.

Nice. It looks like it's coming along.

BTW, you on nasioc.com?

Haven't been on there for awhile but I figured you were on it since you have Subaru on the wall. ;)

Howdy!

I think there are lots of Indianapolans (Indianapolites? Indianapolitians? What the hell are we, anyway?) here on GJ.

I'm on the NW side.

Nice garage!

JM: at least you have some walking space in your garage and i'm hoping that will change for me soon as i'm in an Organizing mode this spring/summer.

might i suggest you putting your location in your profile so when you post questions in other areas of the forum the members will know better how to answer because we have members all over the world now.

that little pile you have in the garage will be gone in a weekend i'm sure if you want it to be so best of luck with that. also ask questions if you have any about how to use the forum or just do a lot of reading and share your wisdom when you can. lots to learn here if you have the time.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I'll get that profile updated with location.

Yes I'm on nasioc but not super active on there. There is a local subaru group and I stay fairly active on that board.

Nope didn't rob a carwash, those holders can be had for a mere 50 bucks.
