Just thought I would formally introduce myself to GJ. Im 34, from central Kentucky. I returned to manufacturing once again after getting tired of weather dictating my paycheck. The last few years before that I was doing framing, concrete flat work, then moved on to finish grade work. Between active duty and the reserves, I served a total of 14 years with the Army before walking away in 2015.When Im in the garage, I spend most of my time doing automotive or motorcycle related repairs maintenance on my toys. Im a go fast junky for the most part, and that reflects in my collection of toys.

My latest project has kind of snowballed into something much bigger and more expensive. I pulled the motor out of my 1995 Mustang Cobra to put on a new oil pan and some new seals and gaskets. That has now lead to the idea of bigger heads, and a new intake. Hoping that I can get it to make close to 700 horsepower to the tires. For the gearheads, the combo is a dart block 347 stroker, soon to be Trickflow competition port 205 cc heads and Box R intake, with a vortec V2 si supercharger adding the boost.

KB: welcome to the site and thanks for your service. you guys in Kentucky seem to own nice cars and pull the engines a lot or more than we do up here in the PNW. i know one member in Kentucky that is rebuilding a Lambo that might give your Cobra a little run for it's money. so do you have a track or some long straight open highways to run these very fast cars?

welcome to the forum and happy to have another handy guy showing up to share and learn.

cheers (ice tea for this old guy)
