Found this forum through some posts on Jalopnik.com, figured I'd join up since I'm on a whole lot of other forums. I'll probably be a lurker for awhile checking out garage setups. I've got a basic 2 car garage, barely any room for workspace and not tall enough for a lift. I hope to fix that after I finish with school so we can move to a different house with room for a shop out back 
I own a 2000 Firebird, yes it's a V6, yes it's modded, and yes I did pretty much all the work on my car in this garage. I've never set out to make it into something to beat up on V8's. It's been a good learning tool on engine building and modding. I've done everything on this car now except for paint. I've had it for 10 years now and I don't ever plan on selling it as I'd never recoup whatever I've spent on it...
Once of humble birth:
I only planned on doing a cam install until I found the engine had bad oil sludge issues:

No lift? Pheh, do it by any means necessary!
I've done suspension swaps, engine work, transmission swaps and conversions (Like converting my car from an automatic to accepting a T56!) all in this tiny garage and sometimes with very cold, numb fingers!
