Hey all, don't post much but do a lot of reading, just realized i actually joined in 2014 (oops). Figured i should do the new guy post finally. I'm a 53 yo that doesn't really like working on vehicles but have a fairly new Dodge Ram 1500 that "needs" a few upgrades. I do like having the right tool for a job so always looking for things i don't have and "might" need sometime. I have 14 grandchildren that try to keep me young. I typically say that it isn't the age but the mileage that is killing me. I'm retired from the USAF. Was a computer geek for most of my time but when i left active duty i ended up joining the ANG after 9/11 and asked them where they needed the most help, so i joined AMMO. What a difference that was. Great group of people and truly loved the job.

I still work computer security but am on the contract side now. I love shooting and collecting so i hate the state i'm in. The anti-gunners are horrible here (hence the Marylandistan nomenclature.) This drivers in this state are not friendly to us riders so am considering selling the Yamaha 950 touring that i have now, just hate to let it go.

I guess that is enough for now, or too much probably. Thanks for all the info i've been able to get from you all.

Rick.

Welcome to the forum :) Where are you at in Md ?? I have lived here my entire life and the drivers have gotten 300% worse :( I sold the last bike I had a few years ago, got too dangerous. Part of the problem is in the DC area there are drivers from all over the country and nobody drives the same. Makes for a mess.

Severn. I was transferred here after Korea and met a woman that hasn't lived farther than 20 miles from Annapolis. She and the grands make this state bearable. But that doesn't stop me from griping :)

It’s more bearable over here on the Eastern Shore. A ANG buddy of mine commutes to Martin from over here which is much better than living on that side!
