New Guy from Michigan's Thumb

I've been following this forum for a few months now, only recently joined. In the process of building a 30 ft by 50 ft garage. My son has a 1964 Ford F100 that he's pulling the '80s vintage V8 and putting in a 300 CID 6; I'm doing a ground up restoration on a '71 MGB. We've also have a '72 Chevy (all original). Exterior is almost all sided, have 2 OH doors to install (closed in w/ OSB now) and have just started wiring interior lighting. Also have built a little bit of storage.

I'm in my late fifties so I'm building my retirement place. Anyway great forum with lot;s of good info. Thanks to all.

Every guy I ever met from the thumb is a bit touched. You started off on the right foot saying you plan on retiring in this gawdforsaken state.

More pics of the little roadster will help me pass the time waiting for summer.

I've been accused of being many things, but Normal usually isn't one of them, but that helps makes life fun. Have family in the area and Detroit Metro is 1+ hours away so not to bad. Have some acreage and a lot of freedom in what I do on it.
I like my daughters definition of Normal. "Normal is a setting on the dryer"
