I live on the north side of the Twin Cities metro. My wife and I (just married last September) bought a house in February, after I've been renting an apartment for the last 4 years. At my old house up in the St. Cloud area, I used to have a 25x40 detached shop with A/C and in-floor heat and high vaulted ceilings.
Now I've downsized to an attached 3 car garage, about 19x27. No heat or A/C yet, but it is insulated and sheetrocked. Lots of improvements are planned, and I'm here to find space-saving solutions and see what others have done. Luckily I have a 12x16 shed in back, so I only have to share space with my wife's car and not lawn/garden stuff or other storage.
