Hello everyone, I've been reading this forum for a few months now. I can’t remember how I stumbled upon the site but have enjoyed it very much. I belong to a couple of car enthusiast forums and was very surprised when I discovered “The Garage Journal”. I thought to myself, “This has to be the best idea ever!”

Ok a little about myself.
My name is Mike; I’m 50 years young and live in New Hampshire. I’m not the most versed auto mechanic but I love being in the garage. I would consider myself more of a Restorer / Fabricator or just an all around tinkerer. I’m an Engineer by trade and love dreaming up stuff to build. I usually have too many projects going on at any one time to properly complete any of them.

I’m hoping maybe later to start a Garage Gallery post. My main garage (shop) is complete but I need to finish a barn project that I want to use as storage for projects either completed or work in progress.

I hope to continue enjoying The Garage Journal and thank you all for your contributions.

Welcome! I know what you mean about never finishing a project before starting the next... I'm sure you'll find this place fosters a lot of those projects :willy_nil

Cheers

A barn, did you say? Some of us are OBSESSED with barns! I'd love to see it. You should also join the Just Barns forum, here: http://justbarns.proboards.com/

Are you near Milford at all? I have family there.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome, mid 40's engineer here from Manchester area. Is the panel wagon in your avatar one of your projects?

Welcome from a former NH native. Lived in Hopkinton for 32 years in the same house. Finally got tired of the cold & getting hosed on property taxes & moved to East Tennessee. Best thing I ever did but NH will always be "home".. Please send lobstah & fried clams. These heathens think catfish is seafood.. :lol_hitti

Actually there is one grocery store here that sells live Maine lobster. For $24.95 a pound... I'm used to driving down to Rye Harbor and buying them off the boat for 3 bucks.
