Hello guys! I've been lurking on this site for a couple of years now, getting inspiration for my own garage build (Hopefully to begin at springtime). After i discovered GJ, I've hardly visited another website, 'cause everything you need is here (Exept, bring back the hot women thread
). As mentioned I wont start my garage build unntil spring, but thought i would join in now, so I could see more pictures of what you guys post. I will write a little bit about myself, below, I think my English is decent, but just ask, if there's something you don't understand.
My name is Håvard (Almost Howard to you guys) I live in Norway, in a kind of farming county, called Toten. I am 23 years old, and live with my girlfriend and dog, in a house I bought in 2010. I have always loved cars, and basically grew up at carshows and workshops. Since my priorities was saving money to buy a house, and later build a garage, I've only owned one 'cool' car, wich was a 1983 Porsche 944, with a GULF paint-scheme. My work background is in different industrial-shops (assembly, robots, welding etc), automotive painter, paperboy, and my current line of work is an insurance-salesman, and counselor.
My house came with a small, beat up garage, that i currently work in when needed, but i plan to build a 8mx8, 5m garage/workshop, with a lift, and enough air to paint cars.
That's a little bit about me, and my place, will post more when my project gets started, but please ask questions if you want to know more about Norway, or the metric system
