Hello all I'm Jim from NW CT. My first house had a 26'X26' 2 car garage with a loft, overhead crane, heat, 220v hookup for welding, & a vent! boy was I spoiled. I have a disabled child & needed to get him into a better school system so we sold the house and the only house we could afford had an over sized single bay 22'X15'. It's been 10 long years with a garage that's WAY too small. We are now putting on an addition to have my elderly Mom come live with us so under the addition will be my new 30'X26' garage. Plans call for heated floors & 12' ceilings (have to have that for the lift). Piped in air for my air tools & a couple of benches. I'm into cars big time as is my whole family. I just picked up a 34 ford tudor & have big plans for this garage. We break ground in the spring and I cant wait. I will be looking for ideas and will start a thread once we get started. Stay tuned boys; it's going to get interesting.
