New Guy from NY

Hi all,

Another new guy here. I'm Ron from upstate NY. Lots of good info here! I am in the process of completing my detached garage/workshop behind my house, but will probably never be completely done with it.

I just ran a 100amp service out there and have it mostly wired. Will be insulating and putting some walls up soon. Then hopefully finishing the siding if our snow ever melts.

I appreciate all the good advice I have read here, and look forward to learning more!

Ron: maybe you can post up a few pictures of your shop and we might be able to help more and send you to threads we have read?

sounds like you are getting something done even though the cold weather and snow is never ending in your part of the country.

welcome and hope you keep learning something every time you visit the site. i usually do and i visit a lot.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to post some pics this week of what we have done so far. My wife says my garage is just a 40' long storage shed. She's right, so I need to do a lot of work.

Ron: you are not alone and in good company here. my wife thinks ORGANIZING is a swear word because i use it so often. i use the paperclip just above where you write the posts to attach pictures sort of like you would do attaching pictures to emails.
