Hello all,
Mike from Ontario here, and after lurking for a while, finally got my act in gear, got some pictures to post and thought I would introduce myself. In no particular order here are the particulars...
48x48 trussed board and batten garage. No columns over the span
Uninsulated and unheated
Currently divided into quarters of 24x24. One is the auto/metal/dirty side (pics included), one is the wood shop (too messy for pics right now), one is the parking for the daily drivers, the rest is storage.
Projects are the Ferguson 35 tractor seen in the pics, and a '94 K1500 4x4 Blazer (350 & 5spd man. ******) that needs to be brought back into the fold.
Aside from normal shop type equipment, specialty machines include : metal mill and lathe, arc and MIG welders, and a nice big air compressor (ironic that i have no tools for it...)
Hand tools are mostly US purchased Craftsman (yes folks there is a huge difference in quality of Canadian vs US CMan tools), SK, Armstrong and asorted others.
No lift yet, maybe later...
Primary interest in this site is to find ways to make my little haven a better place for all who work or visit there.
Folks, you are welcome anytime!
Mike
