Good Evening all. This is an excellent site. I have been dreaming about my garage for years and it finally has come true. The contractors finished there part last week so now it's my turn to finish, decorate and fill with toys. Are there any other Southern Ontario Garage fans out there that can help me with a few weather/climate related questions?

I'm from a small town about half way between Woodstock and Stratford. I am looking for some info on good flooring. I am thining of using the Armstong .065" self adhering vinyl tiles for my garage floor but I am worried about water damage and having them peel up. What do you guy do or do you know would be good. My garage is going to be in regular use for my daily driver and to house my quad. I want it to look as nice as the inside of my house that my interior designer wife just completed. Any suggestions would be great.

are you planning on doing welding heavy work with jacks or having chemicals in you're garage that may get spilled? if so I am not sure what would hold up to that use and from reading hear I can't recall seing anywon who has found a product that will hold up to extreame to some but perfectly normal use to some of us junkies lol

if all you plan to do is store the car and atvs in their then look into a polished floor similar to what homedepot has, or a epoxy coating if you want something that looks amazing and can hold it's own against water dirt ect I myself have always just left the concrete bare as it only serves to develp a half inch of dirt saw dust and lost nuts and sockets anyways
