So the big wood workbench/shelves was installed/cobbled together by the previous owner of the house. Its built close to square and semi close to level. I think they used every piece of scrap 2x4 they could find.
I am envisioning a larger glass door cabinet, with work bench below, cabinets with drawers below, kegerator with open shelf above it.
I have a 14' wide by 8' high area to work with. Eventually I would like to open up the attic area and lay down ply wood and a drop ladder. That way I can get rid of the plastic shelving and make cabinets and tool storage area on the opposite side of the garage.
I do have a few too many projects looming over my head though. Besides the truck (66 f100), I have to finish up the brew sculpture, get my 67 mustang back on the road, and start a resto on a 73 mach 1.
Rainy season just started, so I am about to dive head deep into fixing up and organizing the garage. I have never worked with wood before, I would be more comfortable welding some 1" tubing and laying on sheet metal. But its a bit cost prohibitive.
