I found Garage Journal by reading Jack Olsen's posts on weldingweb. I clicked the link to his garage thread in his signature over there.
I have a 36x33 pole building style shop. I started out as a car hobbyist and for the past year have started to get into fabricating. I really am enjoying my shop projects. I made a cart for my TIG welder and cooler recently. Next is a welding/fabrication table. Then a gottrikes tubing bender and a belt grinder.
I have a heavily customized '69 Datsun 521 truck that I've been working on for a few years as well..
As far as equipment goes I have most of the essentials covered - small Logan lathe, import mill/drill, Miller TIG welder, bandsaw, etc. I hope to get a Bridgeport style mill in the next year or so to replace the HF mill I currently have.
I am really enjoying seeing what other people are up to in their shops.
