I've been a lurker here for a couple of years, I figured I better make myself legit, at least so I could see the rest of the pictures....
Kevin is the name.....
Car guy for years, my garage is a 24 x 24 attached, with a 25 x 15 attached behind the first one....so grand total is around 950 sq ft....
The front garage is where my wife and I park our daily drivers, winter time around here can get pretty damn cold, so I have a radient tube style furnace in that garage....and a ceiling fan to move the air around to melt the winter slop off the cars....and as it turns out works as a pretty fine rust preventer....dry, that is the secret ro rust prevention, dry out that slop!!!
The back shop has a forced air furnace mounted to the ceiling.
This room was added 8 years after the house/garage was built, as a workshop/toy room.
Cabinets/tool boxes down the East side, with a 4 post ProPark 8plus, so I have a footprint for 3 cars, but with a 14 foot ceiling in the shop, I can stack 2, AND still walk under the upper one with out knocking myself silly....that extra 5 inches is a brain saver...
Unfortunately I moved stuff in before I actually "finished" either room......I call them seperate rooms because in the winter months, I close the opening between and heat seperately....warm in the shop, warm-ish in the garage.
A couple toy cars to play with, the Orange Mopar belongs to a buddy I was wringing out a couple wiring Gremlins for him.....but all the Ford stuff is mine (Ours!!)
Still crawling thru the forum for ideas, hopefully this coming Summer I have a bee in my bonnet to get the front garage painted and decorated....
Cause I guy has to have a decorated garage you know....hang up some posters and signs I have picked up over the years....
I have seen a wealth of insight, and ideas on this forum, and hope to parse what I can to put toward my project....
Oh yeah forgot, I built a shed in the yard a few years ago...that is where the gardening stuff, the gas cans, the lawn mower and the snow blower belong...more garage space for garage stuff....Like my beer fridge, computer, stereo, you know...important stuff
Anyway.....howdy folks....
