I've been lurking around this site since 06 just checking out the cool garages & epoxy floors. I'm in the Upstate area of SC, mechanical engineer working on my masters in ME (70% done), work in design for a large tire mfg (think chubby white guy mascot).
Kind of got bit by the tool bug more lately and starting picking up more things to work with. I work on our two cars and my motorcycle a good bit, mainly maintenance & upgrades. I have a decent Craftsman setup, but trying to pick up higher end pieces slowly.
I've got a small 2-car garage with plenty packed into it between 2 cars, a motorcycle, Craftsman 40" toolbox, lawnmower, and small pancake compressor, etc.
I've already added a garage door opener, two addtl circuit breakers & 12G wiring for 6 electrical outlets (total of 8), 4 banks of 48" lights, flood lights outside, small 110V heater from Home Depot on the ceiling, and insulation for the walls/ceiling. Lowest temp so far this year in the garage has been 51 degrees with teens outside lately (gas water heater being in the garage keeps it somewhat warm). Still need to finish the sheetrock, so it's kind of ghetto right now...
Great site and the forum classifieds are already starting to make a dent in my wallet.
