Just another new guy here. In search of a garage to throw my junk... junk including an old Studebaker wagon!

It had been in storage since '76. Slowly we are working on it. I would love to make it a DD. But for the time being it sits at one house and I live at another. So my search to have them in the same building continues!

Welcome...love the wagon...I would love to ditch the mini-van for something like that!

Thanks! I am just hoping that we can get it running after sitting for so long. A rebuild is in the future.... distant future hopefully.

Nice wagon, Ole Red. That should fix up nice without too much trouble. You gonna modify it a bit (like with a 327 Chevy..) or keep it all original?
I'm new here too, and if I may, I'll pass on a little linky to a place you may enjoy as well......

Plans are:
-Get the current 258 running and Rebuild eventually . I definitely want to keep a Stude heart in the old gal.
-Back it up with an AT that has OD. (maybe 700R4? this is still up in the air)
-I want to drop it down a bit on to wide whites with steelies (much like ones already on there).
-Re-do the seats at some point... Mexi blanket on the front will do for the time being. The back seat is damn near mint. It was stored with the seat folded down, so nothing sat on it for the past 35 years.
-Paint may come at some point.

I dont want it to be overly fancy. Mostly functional and comfortable.

Loving the wagon had a two door in the weeds down the street. The wife wouldn't let me have it, then it disappeared.View media item 10952 Of course it didn't look this good.
Welcome to the garage

Thanks again fellas. The "nomad " studes were pretty dang cool, but not my digs. I prefer the more door rides. My old ride was a 67 buick lesabre 4door. I will be sure to keep y'all up to date on the progress. It should be a fun project. I just need to find a garage that comes with a house so that we are in the same location!
