Hi,
I'm Niels from The Netherlands. I've rebuild my carport and shed into a 1+ car garage two years ago and use it to fix up my '73 VW Beetle.
It's not a very big garage compared to most garages I see here on the Forum, but for Dutch standards it's already a lot bigger then average (being a densely populated country where land is expensive).
The situation as it was when I bought my house (the left part is my house)
The contractor tore down the wall to the shed, making it eventually a kind of T-shaped garage, so that I have room to work on the side of my car or on my motorcycle.
Prepping for the concrete
Concrete..
Masonry to close the front and back
I "painted" the floor with a chemical proof coating and installed some shelves and small workbench
And the garage finished with my beetle body-off
